Sending text newsletter rather than HTML

I know Sam is away so I am looking for input from others.

I have been using GAZ for a month now and for the most part everything is working great.

I do have a few members who can not receive the HTML e-mail. Some (I think AOL people) receive the header and background but nothing else and some others receive code.

For those people I want to send a text version.

When I generate a new newsletter I can pre-view the HTML and all is good. If I try to preview the text version I get the top part of the newsletter (Site name, URL, stats etc.) and the footer with the unsubscribe info. What I don't get is the contents from the threads.

Do I need to set up and generate a second newsletter for my text people or should one newsletter generate both HTML and text?

Is there a setting that I'm missing?

Thank you,

Brian

I have noticed one other thing (not sure if it is related).

All of the pages in the "modules" directory are blank.

index.htm says "why are you readin this"
info.php (blank)
stat.php (blank)
text.php (blank) (the cause of no thread text in my text newsletter?)
threadblock.php (blank)

Go to the ACP -> GAZ -> Modules -> click the module you set up for HTML -> in the Page Type drop down menu switch from HTML to Plain Text -> set up modules you want to use for the plain text version. More info about modules can be found here. Afterwards go to the issue, generate new data, and click the Plain Text link.
