What do you mean 'and FTP the /geek/gars... etc' erm, FTP to where/what/do what with it???
Mmm, coffee. If you want the GARS/ GAL integration to work, you need to grab the GARS package and FTP the gars_class_edit.php file into the /geek/gars/includes directory.

The code base from which I started was 'worse' so to speak for GAL then GARS, as GAL was in a state of transition, but from my end, GAL 6 seems to be functioning a-okay. That is not to say there aren't any bugs, but I suppose the best way for you to tell whether you want to upgrade is to watch the forums for bug reports and support.

Haven't heard of any problems related specifically to vB 3.7 yet. Should be fine and dandy.
