Sharing the same slot among several advertisers
Hi,
Just to make sure, 2 quick questions: 1. Is it possible to share the same advertising slot or location, for instance the main header banner , among several advertisers by using impressions (rotating) scheme? For instance, one advertiser takes 100,000 impressions and the other one takes 100,000 impressions, so each banner is displayed 50% of the time and the other one is shown 50% of the time. Everytime a visitor refresh or reload the web site, a different banner might be displayed, out of those 2 banners. 2. Is there a way to show the stats to the the advertisers? For instance, the number of impressions spent during specific months, the click-through rate, etc. If this cannot be public, is it possible to get these stats on per-advertiser scheme to be able to take a printscreen snapshot to send it to the advertiser? Thank you! |

1: Yes, it is possible for two banners to share the same spot but note that it it will be something like
banner
A,
banner
B,
banner
B,
banner
A,
banner
B,
banner
A,
banner
A and not
banner
A,
banner
B,
banner
A,
banner
B,
banner
A,
banner
B,
banner
A because it is random.
2: No, but there is a GAB ACP Stats section so to provide advertisers with stats would require taking screenshots.

Thanks for your reply Morgan.
If we pick the option to show an ad per impressions, say 50,000 for a single advertiser, and then our web site has 300,000 impressions per month, what would your software do when the 50,000 run out? I mean, is there a "default" banner or event in your script for such events? Thanks again. |

The
banner
would be marked as inactive and no longer show on the page. Only banners that are active would show; there is no default space holder when a
banner
goes inactive.
