Default set who to send to?

Maybe some of this can be done, if so please share. Otherwise some of these are feature requests (Are you still accepting feature requests?)

1a. Ability to set for each 'issue' which usergroups will receive it.
b. Ability to send an issue to a specific email address etc. kind of how vbulletin default email system works.

2. Ability to remove the built in gaz subscription system, and have it rely purely on 'Can receive admin emails' yes.

These 2 things are important as I do not want to send an email out to anyone that is in the banned usergroup, miserable usergroup etc. or who has set can receive admin emails to no.

Thanks.

Via the ACP -> GAZ -> Newsletters -> click a newsletter link, there is the "Usergroups allowed to subscribe" section where you can select those usergroups who can receive issues from that newsletter. The users can go to the /forum/profile.php?do=editprofile page to select whether they want to receive issues. When mass emailing, the users email address that they registered with is used. For individual mailings, there is the email to friend option that appears on the newsletter.php page if you allow it. Adding usergroup options for each individual issue probably isn't something that would get added, as there could potentially be thousands of issues and it isn't feasible to add usergroup options for each issue. If you want to deny your users the ability to unsubscribe, you could remove the option from the /forum/profile.php?do=editprofile page, remove the unsubscribe link from the gaz_html_footer template, and update the gaz_subscriptions table so that the newsletterX field contains the number one so everyone is subscribed to newsletter X prior to sending an issue from that newsletter.

there is no option to unsubscribe users in certain usergroups tho. There is actually no option to stop it from being sent to banned users. That is just crazy.

Go to the ACP -> GAZ -> Newsletters and for each newsletter, check that the banned usergroups are unchecked in the "Usergroups allowed to subscribe" section.
