Default Numerous Errors Trying to Install Release

I bought GARs so I could use this Release thing but I'm starting to think this thing will never work.

I've tried installing and then uninstalling over and over again trying to get this thing to work but all I get are errors.

Some of which include:

Could not find GARS Saved term

Could not find GARS Saved Mod Set

and after when I tried to view the forum I want GARS enabled in I get database errors:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT phrasegroup_GARS_4_phrases gars FROM language WHERE languageid=1;

MySQL Error : Unknown column 'phrasegroup_GARS_4_phrases' in 'field list'
Error Number : 1054

Does anyone have any advice? I'm ripping my hair out trying to get this thing working.

Severely Frustrated

btw my board is running vbulletin 3.5.0

Which version of vb? 3.5.0? or is it an iteration (i.e. 3.5.6)

I suspect there could be some problems with older function calls on 3.5.0... Have you tried to run the clean orphans option in the tools section?

I need you to install it... try to clean orphans... then report specific bugs you are coming across.

I have installed it. I've tried running the clean orphans with no luck.

I don't know how specific I can be about the errors because I get so many and they only appear for a couple of seconds before redirecting me. Most of the errors are stuff like:

Could not find GARS Saved term

Could not find GARS Saved Mod Set

Are these phrase errors? i.e. when you save something it says 'can not find phrase gars_saved_term'??

If so, that indicates an impartical install!

Okay, I tried a clean install again for the upmteenth time and now I'm getting this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method vB_Database_Alter_MySQL::fetch_table_info() in /home2/adam14/public_html/forum/geek/gars/includes/gars_admin_phrases.php on line 200

On line 200 of gars_admin_phrases.php it looks like this:
PHP Code:
                          if ($db_alter->fetch_table_info('language'))
                                {

$db_alter->add_field(array(

'name' => "phrasegroup_" $pg,

'type' => 'mediumtext'

));
                                }

ok, it seems clear that GARS now uses too many newer function calls than 3.5.0 has. Ill go ahead and refund your license if you are going to stay on 3.5.0

Thank you very much The Geek.

If upgrading my board was simple I'd do it to get this thing running but that's way more than I can handle.
