Its all working great apart from one little thing!

Author can post ratings Yes
Author rate as a member? Yes
Tick to submit ratings Yes
Users can post ratings Yes
Users can only rate when making a reply? No
Allow users to change their ratings Yes
Show users ratings in their replies Yes

When I submit a link, and then go to rate it from the thread, once I click "Rate Now" the box scrolls back up and it dosent save the ratings.

Thanks, the issue with rating has already been reported here and is being looked into.

Yes and yes.
I am doing a total re-install over the next day or two (locally first, on one of our dev boxes) and I'll see how it behaves in a 'naked' environment.
I'm sad as we have used this great GARS add-on since it came out, and it's very popular.

Error2 means that there is no file or the file has no size. What thumb service are you using? Try the following:

Check that the /geek/gars/images/misc directory has 755 or 777 permissions.

Find the following line in the /geek/gars/mods/persist/snap.php file, remove the @ and try another post:

Code:

@copy($this->settings['server_path_to_images'] . '/misc/default.jpg', $path);

Any new error message appear?

For those getting Error1, grab the GARS package again and FTP the following files:

/geek/gars/includes/gars_functions_image.php
/geek/gars/includes/geek_class_upload.php
