What's the conditionals for custom fields in vba templates/pages ?

I use vB Advanced for index page. And i use GARS for some blocks on the index page. The thing i couldn't solve is, i can not use the custom fields on my vba page even :

    $customfields = true; 		// Set to true to grab the custom fields.

is like above.

Maybe i do wrong. I tried :

<if condition="$post[garsXX]">

and

<if condition="$thread[garsXX]">

Is there a different to use the conditionals for custom fields ?

I've already solved my problem.
The answer is "<if condition="$result[garsXX]"> variable. "XX" is the ID of the custom field...
