Default Email not Sending

Hello,

I am on my own dedicated server and watching the mail logs. I installed Geek Gazette today and after trying a few looks took it out of test mode and generated an issue. I also have it set to generate future issues once a week starting Monday 2/2. My first question is that I had to manually hit send for it to say the newsletters were sent. They did not actually send even though it says they did. Is there a delay involved? I tried manually running the GAZ cron job but that did not get them to really send either. Also, when the next issue is automatically created will it also automatically send to members?

Thank you for your help.

-Raymond

Also, there is a typo in test/index.htm

Why are you reading this?

I got curious and was wondering if something still dropped in there.

Is it smart enough to know that there is a pending license transfer to me that has not been approved yet?

If I manually run the GAZ send queue instead of manually hitting send under issues it sits there a while and acts like it is trying to send but still does ot actually send anything. I think I'm out of ideas now for things to look at, but hopefully i got enough info here to figure it out. Thanks!

Problem solved!

I had to change from using the local smtp server to using the php mail function for sending emails from my forum for GAZ to work.
