Default banner layout

Hi,

By default when i show a banner there is a line above and under the banner . What i want is that the banner like a forum, threat or post.

So what is the best way ? Strip all the html that gab use and add the costum html in the template that i need ? Or can i make diffrent styles to display a banner in gab ?

I want to display a banners on the follow way
- in each catogry (forum home) after each first forum
- In the threatlist after post 3, 8.
- In the forumpost after the first 3 posts (for this is there a tut)

The display the ads on the right place is the only possbeltle to wrok whit a $counter var and a if statment ?

In the ACP -> GAB -> Billboards -> click a billboard link -> Wrapper, when wrapper is set to yes, the GAB_wrapper_standard template is used to surround the ads. There is no option to set what template you ant to use to surround the ads, and ads are fetched at the beginning of the code, so they are available in various places on the page. You could make an HTML banner , designing it however you want and turning off the wrapper, but note that vB postbit variables wouldn't be available for use, as the ads are fetched at the beginning of the code. For an ad after every X posts, see this tutorial. For the other locations, you'd need to do something similar to the tutorial and/or edit vB templates for where you want the ad to show.
