Geek Auto-Linker GAL automatically links keywords that users type in posts to advertising hover pop-ups.

After reading this I decided to check under IE also (IE6). On my site (3.6.8PL2) it does seem to disappear slightly faster under IE, but not a lot...

One thing I did notice however was that under Firefox if you leave the cursor over the link, the popup remains indefinitely. Under IE6 it 'decays' at the same rate whether the cursor is floating over the link or not.

[edit: I'm a slow typer, previous post wasn't there when I started ]

Is it just IE6 or both IE6 and IE7?

From my tests under both IE6 and IE7 the popup disappears after expected amount of time (difference from my tests between FF and IE are negligible) whether hovering cursor over link or not. Under Firefox the popup doers not disappear whilst hovering.

Mind you, my decay time is only 2000, which seems to leave the popup for about 2-3 seconds in live tests on my site. Perhaps if there is an issue it is not noticable with short time frames?

Does anybody notice whether it depends on vB version? Seems strange to work for some and not for others. Hard to track down.

I'm running GAL on the same version - 3.6.8PL2

For me the popup time is not an issue, only the popup staying on hover. RaceJunkie seems to also have this issue

Staying on hover is a difference in how browsers deal with the JavaScript. The quick disappearing act that some people experience in IE is an issue, and I'm not sure why some people have that problem and others do not. Those experiencing the latter, what other add-ons (ones that include JavaScript) do you have?
