Of course this sounds really bad and I wish you and your family all the best in the world, but can't somebody else take on support in the meanwhile?
I mean, don't get me wrong: a lot of people here built their business upon your software and there are still a lot of issues and questions to be solved. As much as I wish for yourself to return to us as soon as possible, it would be great if someone could stand in for you during that time of personal crisis. Thanks a lot and all the best! |

I came today to buy the Geek Gazette but now I am having 2nd thoughts.. I do hope everything works out for you and yours, but I would have to agree with pixie. This is the main reason I have tried to stay away from one-man operations for s/w.. If anything prevents you from supporting your s/w in the future where does that leave all the current customers? I have heard only great things about this news letter but the support is the only thing that makes me 2nd guess my options..

I've been a customer for almost a year and have really been happy with the products and support.
For what you are paying you really can't expect everything. There's no doubt that geek puts alot of work in his scripts. Im sure if had to hire staff the cost's would go up. I'd hate to have to pay $149 for gars but it would be more worth it than paying $149 for vbseo which actually cost's that much. You are still getting way more than you pay for here. My advise is hang tight and let The Geek get his priorities together. He'll be back in full force hopefully soon. I've been putting off buying a couple scripts also and Im ready as soon as he gets back. |

Yep, If he had a support team you would be paying for it. While the Geeks out taking care of family business, how about everyone skim thru some posts and see if you can’t answer some questions. Help the guy out.
I’m no Guru but I do what I can. That’s all it takes. |

Last post here was made quite some time ago, and it appears the Geek Shop is still closed. Can someone please provide an update? Thanks.
