Page anchors for multi-page Articles

One of my users made an excellent suggestion today.

On Articles that span mutiple pages, it would be great if the web browser was set to automatically scroll down so that the top of the page was aligned with the top of the browser window when flipping from page to page. As it stands, the user needs to scroll down past the header, navbar, and anything else you have displayed above the article. Especially at lower resolutions, this can amount to quite a bit of scrolling.

I would think this would just be a matter of adding an anchor to the top of each "page" and then adding the call to that anchor into the links in the ToC and the bottom of each page. Is this easily doable? Something you would be willing to implement geek, or should I try and find the right places myself?

I generally try and modify as little as possible on my scripts to save as much time as possible during upgrades, so having this as an "official" feature would be nice if possible.
